KARYANEETI:
Karyaneeti is an opportunity to enter the exciting, unpredictable and happening world of operations. Play, experience & understand the importance of time & effective management through a simulated environment. However, you need not be an operations wizard to participate in this event. All you need to do is put your thinking cap on. The participants will be put in the shoes of a Logistics Manager, and asked to take over the operations of an existing supply chain. The participants have to optimize their production according to demand. In subsequent rounds, A company and industry profile will be given along with the working capital. The participants will have to manage their cash, production, and inventory, keeping in mind the various constraints that will be provided. They have to plan the production based on the constraints imposed.

RULES AND REGULATIONS FOR KARYANEETI:-
To participate in this event; team members per institution- 5
Phase 1
-
Participants will be asked by the judges to take over the operations of an existing supply chain of any company
-
Every team will have to appoint a leader who in turn will become the logistics manager and the other team members will help him as his subordinates

The teams will be given a time of 30 minutes to gather their thoughts on how they will make their supply chain effective and efficient

The teams will have to optimize their production according to the demand

They teams have to plan the production based on the constraints imposed

Different constraints by judges will be given to teams and the teams will have to manage the supply chain keeping in mind these constraints
Phase 2
-
The teams will be asked to prepare a presentation wherein they will explain everything related to how efficiently they managed the supply chain of the company

30 minutes time will be given to the teams to prepare the presentation
-
The presentation should contain slides explaining the company and industry profile along with the working capital.

The presentation should also include slides explaining how the logistic manager was able to manage their cash, production, and inventory, keeping in mind the various constraints that have been provided
-
The presentation should not contain more than 20 slides

Additional 12 minutes will be given for presentation and 3 minutes for the Q&A round
