50 KA FUNDA:
50 ka Funda is a Stanford University developed exercise to introduce entrepreneurship skills among students. This exercise ensures that the young generation has the skills required to capitalize on today's opportunities. The game has been adapted for students with simulated currency. The teams get Rs 50 as an initial investment. The teams are expected to start a virtual company and come up with a product or service with the initial investment that they can sell and make a profit on.
RULES AND REGULATIONS
To participate in this event; team members per institution- 5
Phase 1

Participants will be given a time of 1 day prior to the actual commencement of the event to think and come up with an idea of a virtual company with an initial investment of Rs. 50

There will be segmented competition

The teams will be divided in two categories:

Teams competing in the product category

Teams competing in the service category

Both the teams will be judged differently

The result for Phase 1 will be announced one day before the commencement of the event
Phase 2

The selected teams will have to prepare a presentation discussing in length about their company (product category/service category)

The whole team has to be present during the Phase 2. If any member from a particular team is absent then the whole team will be disqualified

The presentation time for each team will be of 12 minutes and the Q&A round will be of 3 minutes

The presentation prepared should not constitute more than 20 slides excluding the cover slide and the ending slide

Details of how they will manage the human resources, marketing, finance, etc of the company

Details of how will they sell the product/service and how can they earn profit, etc

Decision of the judge will be final and not subject to any changes
